I'm so happy you decided to become an affiliate. We are going to do great things together!  Below you'll find all the answers you'll need to some basic questions about being a Soulful Essence affiliate. If you don't find the answer you are looking for here, please contact me directly.

How much money will I make?

You’ll earn commissions of 20% of each retail sale you make (excluding Rina's Blend products, tax and shipping fees). 

How will I get paid?

Once each month we will send your commissions directly to your bank account via Chase Quick Pay. There are no fees for you.

When do I get paid?

You’ll receive your commissions around the 10th of each month for sales made two months prior.

For example, around May 10th you’ll receive your commission payment for sales made in March. Around June 10th you’ll receive your commission payment for sales made in April. (And so on.)

The time delay allows us to ensure that all customer payments are collected, processed, and finalised, before sending out the commission payments. This keeps everything as accurate and fair as possible–we want to make sure you get all of the commissions coming to you, even if the customer payments takes a little while to clear! :)

Note: Payments are made around the 10th of each month. They may come a day or two earlier or later.

Do I need to do anything special to receive payments via Chase Quickpay?

There is an initial setup that takes about 2 minutes.  It's super easy. You basically just need to log onto Chase and create an account. You do not need to bank with Chase in order to receive payments via Chase Quickpay. Once your setup is complete, you will receive a notification from Chase every time I send you a payment.  All you'll need to do is click accept and the money will be transferred  to your account. It usually takes about 1 - 2 business days. Again, there is no fee for you to receive these payments.

What % discount will people receive when they use my code?

Your code will provide customers with 10% off anything they purchase from Soulful Essence.

Can I earn commissions for my own purchases?

No. You can earn commission whenever someone else makes purchases using your discount code, but commissions are not paid out on purchases that an affiliate makes using her own code.

Can I get paid for purchases my friends made if they didn’t use my discount code?

No. We can only pay commissions on purchases that people make using your discount code. That’s why it’s important to always use your discount code when talking about Soulful Essence products!

My friend promises that she meant to use my discount code, but she forgot. Can you make an exception and give me credit for her purchase anyway?

No, I’m sorry. We work hard to make sure that the affiliate system is working properly so that you get the commissions you earn. In order to make the system work as fairly as possible, we cannot under any circumstances grant commissions on orders people made using other discount codes or without a discount code–even if it was an accident, and even if they’re a friend of yours. Similarly, we cannot change the affiliate to whom the commission credit is given. No exceptions are made to this, at all.

Should I have people contact you to make sure I get commission for their purchases?

Nope–not necessary! :) As long as they used your discount code and then made their purchase, you’ll get credit. No need to email us!

What if someone buys something different than what I linked to?

When someone comes to the Soulful Essence website and uses your discount code to make any purchase, you’ll get commission for whatever they buy, even if they buy something different than what the link was for.

Do I have to have a website to be an affiliate?

No, you don’t have to have a website. You can use your discount code in emails, social media updates, or even in print!
