Say Goodbye
If you're like me, you've probably already started planning for 2016. You've put together to-do lists and identified goals and are ready to hit the ground running in the new year. Like me, you're probably also a little bit confused about where you're going to be running to. I know I'm certainly going to be busy, but sometimes I wonder if I'm busy doing the right things and if the plans I'm making are the right plans.
Luckily for me, I just got my first ever Shining Year planner from Leonie Dawson and I'm so excited about it! I can't tell you how helpful it's been. One of the most amazing things about it is the 2015 Closing Ceremony! In it, she walks you through a very valuable process and sort of tricks you into figuring out the really great things that happened to you in 2015 and also to identify areas where you could use a little work. I absolutely love it! After going through the Closing Ceremony I feel so much better about the upcoming year. I feel crystal clear on what I want to do and how I'm going to do it. It's amazing how much you can figure out if you just take the time to pause and think about what you really want. This closing ceremony is probably one of the most valuable things I've done all year and I can't wait to see how it influences my 2016. If you don't have a Shining Year planner or have never heard of it, I highly recommend that you get one. It really helps you organize your thoughts and goals. Here's the link if you'd like to check it out.
Do you have your own end of year closing ceremony? What do you usually do to help transition yourself into the new year? I'd love to hear what you are doing and if you have an amazing idea, please share it in the comments below.
